If you like seeing a beautiful park, this is for you!

Ben's Tours--Millenium Park, Chicago IL

Millennium Park, completed in 2004 (4 years late and enormously over budget) covers the area north of the Art Institute in Chicago built on air rights over commuter train tracks along the lakefront.

It's hard to visit Chicago and not swing by Millennium Park. Sitting just north of the Art Institute of Chicago, Millennium Park is home to some of the city's most beloved sights, including Cloud Gate (more commonly known as "The Bean"). The Crown Fountain is another popular attraction: It features two giant block columns with video screens that display the faces of 1,000 Chicago residents. The faces change every five minutes or so, with water spouting out of puckered lips, and this can keep children entertained for hours. Millennium Park is also home to the Pritzker Pavilion theater and the Lurie Garden.

A visit to Chicago would not be complete without a stop in Millennium Park, and it won't cost you a red cent! And no, there is no Ferris Wheel in Millennium Park; that is at Navy Pier (a short distance from the park). For an interesting picture, stand under the Cloud Gate sculpture and point your camera up.
